Alkira is hiring a Solutions Architect to join its growing SA team supporting enterprise customers on its Network-Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform. This is a hands-on technical role that embeds directly with strategic enterprise accounts from pre-sales technical validation through production deployment, adoption, and expansion.
You will serve as the technical bridge between Sales, Engineering, and customers. Key responsibilities include embedding with strategic customers as the hands-on technical owner throughout their journey; leading network architecture discussions with customers and partners; designing, building, and deploying Alkira-based solutions using best practices; developing automation and integrations (Terraform, APIs, scripting) to accelerate deployments; collaborating with customer networking, cloud, and platform teams; conducting technical workshops and training; creating design and architecture best practices and reference architectures; providing deep technical support and troubleshooting; owning customer success on key accounts from adoption and expansion perspectives; and working with Product Management and Engineering to provide customer feedback on upcoming features.
Required qualifications include strong cloud and networking fundamentals; 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role (consulting, solutions architecture, sales engineering, or professional services); 1+ years of hands-on experience architecting and deploying cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI); hands-on experience designing and building hybrid and public cloud infrastructure; strong networking background in routing technologies and network security; proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python, REST APIs); strong passion for customer outcomes and creating lasting professional relationships; flexibility to travel to customer sites; excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in large-scale network design/deployment, relevant technical certifications, and a BA/BS/MS degree are pluses.
