Middesk is a Series B fintech company (backed by Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners, Y Combinator alum) that transforms business identity verification and compliance workflows. The company replaces manual, slow processes with seamless access to complete, up-to-date business data, helping companies verify identities, onboard customers faster, and reduce risk.
As Solutions Architect for Mid Market, you'll own the technical health, adoption, and growth of a portfolio of mid-market and scaled customers. You'll be the primary technical point of contact for key accounts, working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to ensure customers realize full value from Middesk's platform.
Key responsibilities include: owning technical relationships and building strong partnerships with customer engineering and product teams; driving successful onboarding and implementation from scoping through go-live; monitoring account health, usage patterns, and technical metrics to identify and resolve risks early; developing deep expertise in Middesk's APIs, data products, and verification workflows; troubleshooting complex issues by diving into logs, payloads, and data workflows; advising customers on scalable, resilient integration architectures for compliance and regulated environments; synthesizing customer feedback to influence product roadmap; and creating technical enablement assets (documentation, guides, runbooks) for customers and internal teams.
You'll report to the Director of Solutions Engineering in a highly visible, customer-facing role within a high-growth, execution-driven environment. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with API logs and data workflows as with presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Required: 5+ years in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Customer Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Forward Deployed Engineer); experience supporting B2B SaaS products with API-first or data-centric integrations; strong familiarity with APIs, data workflows, and SQL; proven track record with mid-market and enterprise customers, ideally in fintech or regulated industries; ability to own and prioritize a portfolio of accounts; excellent communication skills translating between technical and business audiences; and a problem-solving bias toward action.
Nice-to-have: familiarity with identity verification, fraud, compliance, or onboarding workflows in regulated industries (banking, fintech, insurance); early-stage startup experience with documentation and cross-team enablement.
