Anysphere, maker of Cursor (an AI-native code editor), is hiring Solutions Architects to help enterprise engineering organizations adopt AI-assisted development at scale. This is a deeply technical, post-sale role embedded within Cursor's most strategic accounts.
You'll work directly with engineering teams to design and roll out high-impact AI-native workflows, accelerate adoption, and help organizations fundamentally rethink how software gets built. The role combines hands-on technical work with strategic influence: you'll configure environments, design workflows, run enablement sessions, and solve technical problems directly with developers and platform teams. You'll also advise engineering leaders on rollout strategy, workflow evolution, and long-term architecture for AI-native development.
Key responsibilities include rolling out Cursor across strategic engineering organizations, identifying expansion opportunities within customer environments, designing adoption strategies for new workflows and teams, and building deep relationships with developers, platform teams, and engineering leadership. You'll lead architecture reviews, technical working sessions, and strategic planning discussions while coordinating across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
You'll drive measurable customer outcomes by connecting Cursor adoption to engineering impact—faster iteration cycles, improved developer productivity, workflow efficiency, and quality improvements. You'll also bring structured feedback from strategic customers into product development, helping shape new capabilities through lighthouse customers and design partnerships.
Ideal candidates have strong technical backgrounds in software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or developer tooling, plus experience in customer-facing technical roles (Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar). You should be comfortable working hands-on with engineering teams while operating strategically with technical leadership, with deep understanding of developer workflows, SDLC tooling, CI/CD systems, and enterprise engineering environments. Excellent communication skills, strong ownership, high execution ability, and willingness to travel to customers are essential.
