As a Solutions Architect on the Professional Services team, you will be the primary technical point of contact for commercial customers, leading implementations and driving adoption of Chainguard's container image solutions. You'll work directly with customers to help them build secure software with open source across their organizations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technical implementations and driving customer adoption of Chainguard images
- Partnering with account teams (AEs, SEs, CSMs, Support) to understand customer goals, pain points, and develop account strategies
- Acting as "customer zero" to test, document, and ensure smooth onboarding experiences
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to surface customer requirements and influence product priorities
- Maintaining architecture documentation and sharing best practices across the organization
- Working cross-functionally as a team player, teaching and learning alongside colleagues
You'll need 4+ years developing high-performance, multi-tier applications with strong hands-on Kubernetes and container experience, plus 2+ years in a pre or post-sales customer-facing role. You should be able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences from engineers to executives, have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and be willing to travel up to 15% of the time. Strong communication skills, software development knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration experience are essential.
