Veeam is seeking a Solutions Architect to join its team in Belgium. In this role, you will work closely with sales teams to provide architectural solutions and deep technical expertise across Veeam's data resilience and data security posture management product suites.
You will engage with sales opportunities from pre-sales through post-sales, providing subject matter expertise to customers, partners, and internal teams. Key responsibilities include designing architectural solutions, leading large-scale proof of concepts and technical alliance validations, supporting post-sales deployments with service delivery partners, and developing technical documentation including whitepapers, best practice guides, and competitive analysis.
You will represent Veeam at marketing and technical presentations as a subject matter expert, actively contribute to the Veeam Community Forums, and be available to travel within your assigned region as needed.
Required qualifications include deep hands-on experience with hypervisor technologies (VMware, Microsoft, RedHat), large and complex datacenter infrastructure operations, and understanding of the top three hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). You should have experience with relational databases, programming/scripting languages for automation, and strong project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfort presenting to groups, and fluent English are essential. You must be a self-starter capable of learning new technologies quickly and possess demonstrated logical problem-solving abilities.
