Roboflow is seeking a Solutions Architect to join its pre-sales team and help enterprise customers design and deploy computer vision solutions at scale. You'll work alongside sales leadership and the co-founder/CEO to qualify opportunities, design tailored edge-based computer vision solutions, and lead technical demonstrations and proofs of concept.
In this role, you'll be the primary technical resource during the pre-sales phase, responsible for understanding customer business objectives and technical constraints, then architecting scalable solutions that leverage Roboflow's platform across hardware, software, and edge deployment configurations. You'll maintain deep expertise in computer vision, edge computing, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure IoT), and related technologies, translating complex technical concepts into business-oriented language for non-technical stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include: qualifying opportunities with sales teams, designing solutions that meet customer requirements, providing technical guidance on edge deployments and integrations, leading demos and POCs, serving as the primary technical contact for customer discussions, and collaborating with Product and Engineering to advocate for customer-driven improvements.
You should bring 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical sales engineering, or a related role, ideally in computer vision, AI, or IoT. Industry experience in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, food processing, or retail is preferred. You'll need strong expertise in edge-based solution design, proficiency in Python and JavaScript, familiarity with computer vision frameworks (OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel approximately 40% is required.
