Indico Data is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead technical customer engagements, helping clients design and implement data extraction workflows powered by GenAI and ML. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor within the Professional Services team, working closely with customers to understand their business challenges and architect solutions using Indico's platform.
In this role, you'll own the full customer engagement lifecycle: capturing project scope and requirements, providing technical leadership for pilots and implementations, developing custom code and ML models when needed, and managing system integrations with customer IT infrastructure. You'll collaborate across internal teams—Product, Engineering, R&D, Customer Success, and Sales—to translate customer feedback into product improvements and new capabilities.
You'll be comfortable presenting technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you'll take ownership of solution design, custom development, model training, and ground truth testing. Your work directly influences Indico's product roadmap and customer success.
Required: 4+ years in customer-facing software development or professional services roles. Strong Python proficiency (asyncio, dataclasses, typing, linting, type checking, unit testing). Experience with Git, CI/CD, command-line workflows, solution design documentation, JSON schemas, and system integration patterns (polling, event queues, webhooks). You must be attentive to data security and privacy in HIPAA and PII-sensitive contexts, and skilled at building trust with customers and partners.
Bonus qualifications: CS degree or technical certification, familiarity with AI/ML concepts (accuracy, precision, recall, training, prompting), hands-on experience with GenAI tools (Claude, Gemini, GPT), AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, Celery, GraphQL/REST APIs, ETL processes, Docker/containerization, or insurance industry knowledge.
