As a Solutions Architect on Coinbase's Sales, Trading and Prime team, you will bridge technical field engagement with hands-on software development to scale B2B products. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers ranging from startups to large institutions, while contributing to open source projects and extending Coinbase's core products to unlock strategic opportunities. Key responsibilities include partnering with customers to guide them in building on Coinbase services and APIs, collaborating with sales teams to address technical requirements and support deal closure, and architecting distributed systems solutions for complex customer needs. You will lead customer implementations end-to-end, delivering technical presentations, resolving roadblocks, and ensuring success through partnerships with support teams. Additionally, you'll drive collaboration with product and engineering teams to extend core capabilities for strategic clients. Required qualifications include a degree in computer science and 3+ years of software engineering experience, with expert-level proficiency in REST and WebSocket APIs and production experience with Golang. You must have a proven track record designing and building integration solutions across modern and legacy systems for complex, ambiguous customer problems. Strong ability to translate complex technical needs into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders (sales, product, engineering) is essential. Experience with blockchain, crypto, or trading systems is required. You should demonstrate the ability to independently scope customer requirements and deliver working solutions under tight timelines, and utilize generative AI responsibly to drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
