Snowflake is seeking a Solution Engineer to accelerate AI Data Cloud adoption in the Oslo region. You will work directly with the account sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize winning sales cycles, deliver compelling value-based demonstrations, support enterprise Proof of Concepts, and close business.
In this role, you will present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers. You'll work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from initial demo through proof of concept to design and implementation. You'll maintain deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies, positioning Snowflake effectively in the market. You'll also collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake's products and marketing efforts.
You must be equally comfortable in business and technical contexts, interacting with C-suite executives and technical teams while bridging communication gaps between audiences. You should thrive in dynamic, fast-moving environments with flexibility to jump in and get things done.
Required credentials include outstanding presenting skills and executive presence for technical, business, and executive audiences. You need broad experience with data platforms, analytics, and cloud technologies, including deep knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures. Proven ability to discuss and demonstrate Generative AI and Machine Learning use cases for enterprises is essential. You should have hands-on experience with modern AI/LLM ecosystems, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and familiarity with open-source frameworks such as LangChain, Hugging Face, or PyTorch. Understanding of how to work with and deploy Large Language Models is required. Familiarity with core data concepts such as data modeling, data governance, and data engineering best practices is necessary. Hands-on expertise with Python and SQL is expected.
