Justt is a leader in chargeback automation, providing AI-driven solutions that help merchants reclaim revenue from payment disputes. We're seeking an experienced Solution Engineer to join our New York team and take full ownership of complex technical processes from pre-sales through customer onboarding.
In this role, you'll lead technical sales processes by conducting deep discovery with prospects, delivering professional product demonstrations and technical workshops, and developing customized solutions that address specific client challenges. You'll own the complete technical implementation of Justt's solutions for new clients, ensuring seamless integration with their existing systems and providing comprehensive training to maximize value realization.
You'll work closely with sales, product, customer success, and engineering teams to translate client needs into clearly defined technical tasks, help drive them to completion, and contribute to technical documentation and training materials. This is a critical role requiring independence, proactivity, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment.
You bring 5+ years of proven experience in solution engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting, with 2+ years in fintech or payments being a strong bonus. You have deep understanding of AI-powered solutions, payment processing systems, fraud prevention, and chargeback management. Your technical skills include hands-on experience with integration processes, APIs, and data mapping, combined with strong problem-solving and project management capabilities.
You're an exceptional communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with composure under pressure and a customer-first mindset. You thrive in rapidly changing environments and are excited by complex technical problems. The role is based in New York with a hybrid model; some travel is expected to meet clients, support on-site integrations, and collaborate with teammates.
