DevRev is building Computer, an AI teammate platform that unifies data sources, tools, and workflows into a single AI-ready system. The company, backed by Khosla Ventures and Mayfield with $150M+ raised, is seeking a Solution Engineer to act as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise customers.
In this role, you will partner with customers to understand their domain workflows, systems, and data flows—particularly in connected vehicles, factory systems, and IoT environments. You'll translate real-world signals (sensor data, logs, events) into actionable insights, workflows, and automated actions. Key responsibilities include building and showcasing AI-driven workflows and agentic use cases, designing end-to-end solutions from data ingestion through decision-making to action, and delivering tailored demos and proofs-of-concept grounded in real-world scenarios.
You'll support integrations with external systems via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines, contribute to technical proposals and RFP responses, and stay current on industry trends in renewable energy, automotive, manufacturing, and IoT. This is a technical sales role requiring deep domain expertise combined with engineering depth.
Required qualifications include experience in renewable energy, automotive, manufacturing, industrial systems, or IoT environments, with strong understanding of connected systems, sensor ecosystems, and real-world data flows. You should have engineering depth with experience in data pipelines, APIs, integrations, and distributed systems. Programming experience in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript is expected, along with understanding of system design, reliability, and failure handling. Exposure to AI/ML in industrial use cases (vision systems, predictive maintenance, log analysis) and familiarity with LLMs, RAG, and AI agents are important. Comfort with tools like Postman, GitHub, Jira, and Claude Code is beneficial.
