Veeva Systems, a public benefit corporation and leader in industry cloud for life sciences, is hiring a Solution Consultant for LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) focused on the Food & Beverage and Consumer Packaged Goods sectors.
In this role, you will be a trusted technical advisor and pre-sales expert, partnering with the Sales and Strategy teams to drive the sales process for Veeva's QualityOne LIMS platform and broader Vault Quality Cloud Suite. You'll conduct needs analyses with prospects, deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to their operational pain points, and lead proof-of-concept engagements and conference room pilots to showcase how Veeva transforms lab and quality operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting discovery sessions to uncover customer requirements and map business challenges
- Configuring and delivering high-impact demonstrations of Vault LIMS and related Quality Cloud solutions (QMS, QualityDocs, Training)
- Leading collaborative workshops and structured POCs to illustrate business transformation
- Crafting strategic, value-driven RFP and RFI responses aligned with customer objectives
- Serving as a functional and technical expert throughout the sales lifecycle
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to ensure customer success
- Supporting marketing initiatives through webinars, product videos, and industry event participation
- Training account executives on LIMS functionality and discovery techniques
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with LIMS applications in manufacturing environments
- 3+ years working in regulated industries (F&B, CPG, Chemical, Pharma, or similar)
- Direct knowledge of QC and laboratory operations in regulated process industries
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to present technical content with clarity and credibility
- Self-starter mentality with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with high execution standards
- Willingness to travel 20–30%, including internationally
Nice-to-have skills include pre-sales or solutions engineering experience at a commercial software company, familiarity with QC processes and LIMS master data management, experience with enterprise software for Quality and Manufacturing, exposure to LIMS/QMS/MES/PLM ecosystems, and background in SaaS/Cloud architecture or enterprise software consulting.
