Redis is seeking a Solution Architect to work with enterprise customers in the New York Metro area. In this role, you will educate and collaborate with customers to design customized Redis-powered solutions that address their specific business and technical needs. You'll drive proof-of-concepts, pilots, and evaluations, working hands-on with customers to help them maximize business value and overcome technical challenges.
Key responsibilities include understanding and quantifying customer business requirements and use cases, working with customer technical teams (architects, developers, PMOs, and executives) to ensure successful POCs and pilots, and collaborating closely with the Sales team to develop account strategies and identify expansion opportunities. You'll present Redis capabilities and technology in a professional manner that demonstrates business impact and competitive advantages, and provide customer feedback to Product Management and R&D teams to improve materials and best practices.

You should have 3+ years of pre-sales engineering experience (ideally in database engineering) for enterprise software, hands-on experience with server-side software development and Linux, and deep understanding of scalable, highly available distributed systems. A BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience is required. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, along with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
