DocuSign is seeking a Solution Architect for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) to lead end-to-end technical implementations of the Intelligent Agreement Management (IAM) platform. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Regional Delivery.
You will serve as a trusted technical and business expert, driving complex customer implementations from initial design through final deployment. Your responsibilities include leading technical implementations of DocuSign IAM, providing architectural guidance on integration strategies, and serving as the subject matter expert on solution design, configuration, network/data security, and scalability. You'll guide project teams on deployment best practices, conduct code and configuration reviews, and troubleshoot complex issues to bring at-risk projects back on track.
Key responsibilities: establish trusted advisor relationships with enterprise customer administrators and executive stakeholders; translate complex business requirements into clear technical designs; lead project escalations and provide time-critical solutions; partner with Sales and Pre-Sales teams on scoping and technical estimation; collaborate with Project Managers to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget; serve as the Professional Services voice in product feedback loops; and mentor team members on technical deliverables and professional development.
You'll work across internal teams (Product, Sales, Customer Success, Support) and external client leadership, requiring exceptional communication skills and strong technical acumen. The role is fully remote, based in the DACH region.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; 8+ years working directly with enterprise clients on high-impact technical solutions; experience in software/SaaS consulting, solution architecture, or technical implementation leadership; experience with enterprise integration tools, ETL, and web application development; proficiency in C#, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, and REST/SOAP web services; fluency in German and English.
Preferred: experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), document/content management systems, and Business Process Management (BPM) software (Salesforce, SharePoint, Documentum, Pega, K2); deep understanding of data management platforms, XML/XPath, or structured data schemas; background in management consulting with C-suite and VP-level executive guidance; experience in Financial Services, Tech, Telecom, Healthcare, Real Estate, Insurance, or Public Sector; fluency in Italian.
