Salary: EUR 50,000 - 60,000 / annual
HarfangLab is a French cybersecurity scale-up founded in 2018, specializing in EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), EPP (Endpoint Protection Platform), and ASM (Attack Surface Management) solutions. The QA team (currently 4 people) is expanding to strengthen testing capabilities and advance automated test development. In this role, you will develop and maintain comprehensive test coverage using Python/Behave for end-to-end testing and Playwright for frontend automation. Key responsibilities include increasing test coverage with new end-to-end tests, maintaining framework stability, tracking bug resolution, improving the testing framework for usability, and collaborating with engineering teams to evolve QA strategy and practices.
You'll work with Python 3, Behave, Playwright, GitLab CI/CD, and ReportPortal. The product involves Kubernetes, Linux, macOS, and Windows environments. Required qualifications: engineering degree or Master's in computer science (Bac+5), significant software development or QA experience at a software publisher, strong Python proficiency, ability to design and maintain automated test suites with good architecture and maintainability, experience with CI/CD tools, and fluent French (C1+) with professional English. Valued experience includes Behave, Pytest, Playwright, Rust knowledge, API/E2E testing in complex product contexts, and multi-OS familiarity.
The QA team operates autonomously with collegial decision-making, emphasizing quality culture, Agile Testing, and TDD practices. Team members are encouraged to contribute ideas, identify improvements, and propose tools. The office is centrally located in Paris (Bourse district, 75002). Flexible remote work within France is available. Compensation: €50-60k base plus performance bonus, comprehensive benefits including Alan health insurance and meal vouchers.
