You'll join as a Senior Android Engineer with high ownership of the mobile trading experience. Millions of users follow markets, track positions, and execute trades on their phones—your work will ensure the Android app matches the engagement and performance standards of the platform.
Key responsibilities include building and owning Android features spanning payments flows, real-time market data, and core UI from design through production. You'll implement polished, performant interfaces using Jetpack Compose that perform reliably under live trading conditions. You'll contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Gradle configuration to enable confident, frictionless shipping. Integration work spans WebSockets, gRPC, and streaming data to power live market features traders depend on.
You'll collaborate with a distributed team across time zones, making sound decisions with minimal oversight. The role emphasizes active incorporation of AI tools into your development workflow to maintain high output. You'll identify architectural gaps and engineering practice improvements early, before they become problems at scale.
Required: strong, current Kotlin experience with concrete understanding of tradeoffs; production experience building UI with Jetpack Compose; hands-on CI/CD and Gradle configuration work; solid modern Android architecture knowledge; active use of AI tools in development (not occasional). Valued experience includes Android payments integration, WebSockets/gRPC/real-time data patterns, cross-platform shared-code architectures, iOS/Swift background, and exposure to engineering practices at larger, mature organizations.
