Anduril Industries is a defense technology company building next-generation military systems powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for real-time command and control. The Electronic Warfare (EW) division is scaling rapidly from hundreds to thousands of units across multiple product variants.
You will own the product roadmap for EW Mission Applications—the software layer between the device and the operator, including operator applications, Lattice integrations, shared visualization components, and internal tooling. This is a product-focused, technically grounded role where you decide what gets built, write the rationale, and hold the line against constant program pressure.
Key responsibilities:
- Own and publish the EW Mission Applications product roadmap, tracking committed, queued, and declined work with clear reasoning
- Run a single intake path for product requirements from programs, customers, partners, and internal teams; scope, size, and respond to every request (accept, defer, or decline with justification)
- Define operator capabilities before design and engineering start—problem statement, workflow, and acceptance criteria for QA
- Deconflict competing program demands on shared engineering teams using a written, defensible prioritization framework
- Represent EW Mission Applications in recurring device API reviews; justify priorities and track requests through delivery
- Partner with UI design on operator workflows and with QA on test coverage, owning the requirement behind both
- Convert recurring field issues into roadmap items and test coverage on a standing cadence
- Track delivery commitments against actuals and publish results to improve estimates and earn credibility
- Brief delivery status, roadmap changes, and risk to stakeholders at all levels—engineers, program leadership, and customers—without flattening technical nuance
- Travel up to 25% to support integration events, deployments, field visits, and customer engagements
You won't write production code day to day, but you must understand the device SDK boundary, client architecture, and integration surface well enough to distinguish real blockers from preferences, write requirements engineering can build against, and negotiate scope with embedded engineering on the merits.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years in software product management, technical product ownership, or closely related role
- Direct ownership of a product roadmap, including authority and track record to decline work
- Demonstrated ability to write requirements and acceptance criteria that engineering and test executed against
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—you'll write the roadmap, run prioritization calls, and brief leadership
- Experience owning a software product surface that depended on hardware or firmware built by a team you did not control
- Experience deconflicting priorities across concurrent customers or programs competing for the same engineering capacity
- Ability to read and navigate codebases and API surfaces; understand what is changing and what it costs
- Comfortable operating with incomplete information and requirements that move
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with operator-facing or mission-critical software where the end user is not the buyer
- Multi-channel product experience: one capability delivered through several front ends, client applications, or partner platforms
- Familiarity with DoD software ecosystem—CDRL cycles, ATO processes, program-of-record cadence
- Prior experience in defense technology, electronic warfare, command and control, ISR, or RF systems
- Experience with geospatial or real-time visualization software
- Experience defining products against a hardware roadmap and an SDK or device API boundary
- Experience with edge deployments where systems operate disconnected or in degraded network environments
- Experience scaling product processes during rapid production ramp
