Salary: USD 130,000 - 165,000 / annual
Ping Identity is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Developer Experience to own the product strategy and roadmap for the company's Orchestration SDK across Web, iOS, Android, and Hybrid frameworks. You will serve as the champion for developers building on Ping's Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, translating complex identity standards into seamless, secure, and intuitive developer experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
• Drive developer adoption by owning the SDK product strategy and roadmap, making complex IAM capabilities highly adoptable for developers.
• Champion developer experience by partnering with technical documentation and developer relations teams to deliver world-class documentation, quick-start guides, and sample applications.
• Execute cross-functional orchestration with core engineering and product teams to ensure the SDK seamlessly exposes new identity capabilities and aligns with platform releases.
• Gather developer insights by actively engaging with customers, partner engineers, and the open-source community to map developer journeys and translate feedback into a prioritized backlog.
• Evangelize the product through technical blog posts, developer forums, and content highlighting SDK capabilities and modern integration patterns.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept to release, maintaining a groomed backlog, defining success metrics (SDK adoption, integration time), and ruthlessly prioritizing high-impact work.
• Stay ahead of evolving app development trends (Swift/Kotlin updates, cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native) and next-generation identity standards.
• Incorporate an AI-focused mindset by optimizing mobile and web app integration for both human engineers and autonomous AI agents, staying current on agent skills and developer experience trends.
• Contribute to wider developer experience improvements across Ping, championing original ideas and assessing holistic DX enhancements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience with hands-on software development.
• Solid understanding of modern identity and security protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and FIDO/WebAuthn.
• Strong developer empathy with keen product sense for clean code, API intuitiveness, library reliability, and useful documentation.
• Experience using AI-assisted software development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar) as part of day-to-day engineering or product workflows.
• Understanding of how modern AI coding agents interact with SDKs, APIs, documentation, and developer tooling, with ability to identify optimization opportunities for both human and AI developers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex architectural concepts into clear product requirements and compelling narratives.
• Experience defining and executing product roadmaps based on market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback in an agile environment.
