Unframe is an AI-first startup enabling Fortune 500 enterprises to deploy LLM-powered applications in days rather than months. Backed by Bessemer, Craft, and TLV Partners with $50M Series A funding, the company combines product-company speed with consultancy flexibility to serve the world's largest organizations. This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on strategic enterprise AI initiatives. You'll operate at the intersection of engineering, architecture, product, and customer strategy—equally comfortable writing code, designing systems, and advising enterprise executives on critical technical decisions. The role is not traditional management; instead, it emphasizes deep technical contribution combined with architectural influence and customer-facing leadership. Key responsibilities include leading architecture and technical direction for strategic enterprise AI initiatives, working directly with Fortune 500 customers to design and deliver scalable AI-powered solutions, and partnering cross-functionally with Platform, Product, and Engineering teams. You'll stay deeply hands-on with code and engineering teams while driving complex technical decisions around scalability, reliability, performance, and system design. You'll help customers solve production challenges, build long-term technical trust, and design enterprise-grade solutions across diverse customer environments and use cases. Additionally, you'll influence engineering standards, architecture practices, and the company's long-term technical direction while operating in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment where execution speed is critical. Required qualifications include 7+ years of software engineering experience, strong hands-on expertise with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks, and deep experience designing scalable production systems and distributed architectures. You should have strong architectural thinking combined with a builder mentality, experience working with enterprise customers or large-scale deployments, and proven experience building AI/LLM-powered products or platforms. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead technical conversations with both engineers and executives are essential, along with a high ownership mentality and ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments. Work is on-site from the Tel Aviv office.
