Dashlane is seeking a Backend Software Engineer with a strong security background to join the product development team in Paris. The role focuses on building innovative security features for both B2B and B2C users, with a mission to deliver credential security that helps businesses and employees thrive. You will design, build, and operate backend services that power security-sensitive features, working closely with product, design, infrastructure, and the Security organization. Key responsibilities include researching and implementing backend services that support user-protection features across B2B and B2C products; building features related to identity, authentication, access control, threat prevention, and other security-sensitive user journeys; translating security requirements and risk assessments into effective product features; contributing to threat modeling activities; and applying security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for an engineer who has already built security-relevant product features in a SaaS environment, understands application security fundamentals, and can contribute pragmatically to secure, scalable backend systems. You will help improve system resilience against common threats and work to strengthen identity and access controls while reducing security risks. Dashlane operates on a hybrid model with in-office collaboration on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, while Wednesdays and Fridays offer flexibility for focused work. The company, founded in Paris, now has over 300 employees globally with offices in New York and Lisbon. English is the working language. Dashlane serves millions of consumers and over 25,000 brands worldwide, including Michelin, Air France, and Forrester, with industry-leading innovations in zero-knowledge security.
