The Platform team owns all backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech engines, and external APIs. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll design, develop, and maintain robust APIs—including the public TTS API and internal systems for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and consumption tracking. You'll oversee the full backend API landscape, optimizing for performance and maintainability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product strategy.
Key responsibilities include building scalable backend infrastructure, enhancing B2B solutions with customization and integration capabilities for enterprise clients, and working closely with product and frontend teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, fast execution, and making data-driven product decisions.
Required skills: backend development in TypeScript/Node.js, hands-on GCP experience, and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms. Preferred: Docker containerization and Kubernetes deployment expertise.
