Salary: USD 200,000 - 275,000 / annual
Clear Street is a fintech platform democratizing access to sophisticated capital markets infrastructure for institutional investors. The company's cloud-native, end-to-end platform provides technology, tools, and services previously reserved for the largest institutions, enabling clients to interact with markets through unified, transparent, and scalable infrastructure.
You will join the Execution Algorithm and Research team, which designs and develops high-performance trading systems and algorithms that power client order execution. This team works closely with desk traders and sales to discover opportunities for enhancing client order flow and execution performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enhancing existing trading strategies and developing supporting tools
- Designing, developing, testing, and deploying new strategies, algorithms, and tools
- Playing a pivotal role in platform evolution as the client base expands
- Acquiring deep understanding of systems to influence future architecture decisions
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the platform
You should have 10+ years developing high-performance algorithmic financial applications, with strong expertise in C++, Python, and Java in Linux environments. You'll need deep knowledge of financial markets, multi-threaded programming, distributed systems architecture, and computer systems optimization. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or related STEM field is required.
Bonus qualifications include statistical analysis experience, proficiency with Pandas/NumPy/SciPy, algorithmic trading strategy development and backtesting, and containerization technologies like Docker.
Clear Street requires 4 days per week in-office presence.
