This Senior iOS Engineer role is critical to supporting Speechify's rapidly growing iOS app, which ranks #18 in the App Store productivity category. You will lead key engineering and product decisions while actively shipping production code for the iOS app. The position involves working within a dedicated product team, participating in product discussions to shape the roadmap, and maintaining the complex app architecture as the user base scales.
You'll be responsible for strategic technical decisions, mentoring through example, and driving product evolution. The ideal candidate has experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record of shipping products from inception to traction, and strong product thinking skills. You should be customer-obsessed, work at high velocity, and know how to balance speed with thoughtful decision-making in a fast-paced startup environment.
Technical requirements include proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
