Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 / annual
Speechify is a text-to-speech platform used by over 50 million people to convert PDFs, books, Google Docs, articles, and websites into audio. With ~200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app (currently #18 in App Store productivity category) and lead new product initiatives.
In this role, you will actively ship production code for the iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, work within a dedicated product team, and participate in roadmap discussions. You'll maintain and enhance the app's complex architecture while thinking strategically about user experience and product direction.
Ideal candidates have experience scaling products to large user bases, a track record shipping products from inception through traction, and strong product thinking skills. You should be customer-obsessed, work at speed, and know how to balance focus in a fast-paced remote environment. Technical expertise required includes Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD infrastructure, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git workflows.
