With 200 employees globally in a fully distributed setting, Speechify is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to support rapid growth of its iOS app, currently ranked #18 in the App Store's productivity category.
In this role, you will lead key engineering and product decisions for the iOS platform, actively ship production code, and work within a dedicated product team to shape the roadmap. You'll maintain and enhance the app's complex architecture while participating in strategic product discussions. You should have a proven track record shipping products that scaled to large user bases, from inception through traction. Experience engineering products end-to-end is essential. You must be customer-obsessed, think strategically about product evolution, and work with speed and focus in a high-growth startup environment.
Technical requirements include strong Swift and SwiftUI expertise, multithreading programming, CI/CD infrastructure experience, Fastlane, SOLID principles, and Git proficiency. The ideal candidate combines solid technical skills with product thinking, excellent communication, and a relentless work ethic.
