As a Software Engineer III, you will be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing and delivering high-quality SaaS features that drive customer success. You'll work across the full stack using modern technologies including ReactJS, TypeScript, GraphQL, and NodeJS, with exposure to AI-driven UX, agents, and workflow automation. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business priorities into shipped features, independently designing scalable and maintainable systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and mentoring junior engineers. You'll drive continuous improvement of development processes and stay current with emerging technologies. Required qualifications: 6-9 years of professional software development experience, BA/BS in computer science or equivalent, proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS. You must have strong knowledge of data structures, databases, algorithms, observability concepts, and GraphQL APIs. Experience with event-driven architecture is highly desirable. Preferred skills include Drizzle ORM, Kafka, and PostgreSQL. OpenGov operates in a fast-paced, results-driven environment where impact matters more than process.
