Omada Health is a digital care provider on a mission to bend the curve of chronic disease through sustainable behavioral change. The Enrollment team owns the technology that moves prospective members from initial interest through eligibility verification, plan selection, and activation as enrolled participants.
In this Software Engineer II role, you'll design and implement a blend of proprietary and third-party tools powering the member enrollment funnel. You'll work closely with Product and Marketing teams to influence conversion and time-to-enrollment metrics. The majority of your time will be spent on hands-on coding, contributing high-quality web application code while maintaining site stability through code reviews, unit tests, and integration tests.
A core expectation of this role is working in an agentic coding workflow as a standard part of daily development. You'll direct AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to plan, implement, test, and review changes across the full software development lifecycle—this is not optional but a fundamental part of how the team operates.
You'll collaborate with experienced engineers to solve programming and design challenges, participate in on-call rotations to triage and address reliability issues in the enrollment pipeline, and contribute ideas on adopting new technologies. The tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, React, AWS (RDS with PostgreSQL, SQS, S3), GraphQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
You should have 3-5 years of experience writing readable, tested, and efficient code. Required skills include Ruby (preferred) or Python, relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), designing scalable APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred). You'll need hands-on comfort directing AI coding agents beyond simple autocomplete, exposure to LLMs and GenAI best practices, and understanding of deployment tools like Kubernetes and Docker. Above all, you're curious, collaborative, and care more about solving problems than being right.
