Anduril Industries is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Geospatial Platform (Terra) team in Seattle. This team owns geospatial cloud infrastructure, edge software, and geospatial data systems that power Lattice OS, Anduril's AI-powered operating system for military command and control.
In this role, you will design and implement geospatial capabilities across cloud and edge environments. You'll build data ingestion pipelines to process large geospatial datasets, create platforms for geospatial data access, and develop edge software enabling high-performance offline access. You'll collaborate across Anduril's business lines to synthesize solutions that serve the entire company's warfighter missions.
Required qualifications include 3-7 years of professional software development experience with languages such as Go, C++, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Rust. You must have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Kubernetes, CI/CD and GitOps tools, and software infrastructure fundamentals including networking, security, and distributed systems. You should have a track record of working with customers to deliver novel software capabilities and a passion for building platform and infrastructure tooling that enables other engineers to scale.
Preferred experience includes building scalable backend systems, designing complex software architectures, experience with modern deployment tooling (Crossplane, Terraform), familiarity with monitoring and logging best practices, and experience in low-structure, high-autonomy environments like startups. Experience with autonomous systems testing frameworks and rapid iteration mindset are valued.
You must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. This is a full-time position offering competitive salary, equity grants, and top-tier benefits.
