LEAP Dev is the software engineering backbone of LEAP Legal Software, a market-leading legal practice management platform used by over 100,000 lawyers and staff globally. Part of ATI Global, a major international LegalTech company, LEAP Dev operates across Australia, Canada, the US, UK, Ireland, Poland, and New Zealand with over 1,000 employees. You'll join the Core Product development team as a Senior Software Engineer, working on multiple projects spanning backend services and web applications. This role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of legal technology while working with a dynamic team of law and technology experts. Key responsibilities include designing and developing software solutions with primary focus on backend development using C# and .NET (approximately 70%) and frontend development using React (approximately 30%). You'll design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, integrations, and event-driven solutions. You'll develop modern, responsive frontend applications using React, apply software engineering best practices including agile methodologies, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement scalable, maintainable solutions, and contribute to improving development practices, architecture, tooling, and engineering standards. Required qualifications include minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, strong commercial experience with C# and .NET backend applications, and 3+ years with React or similar modern frontend frameworks. You should have strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development principles. Demonstrated experience required in RESTful API design and implementation with .NET (preferably .NET 10), relational database schema design with AWS RDS or Amazon Aurora MySQL, event-driven solutions using Amazon SQS, S3, and Lambda, AI-assisted development including MCP servers and structured prompting, workspace API integration (Microsoft Graph and Google Gmail APIs), and server-side document generation using Aspose or similar. Highly valued experience includes Microsoft Graph API integration with Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Calendar, OneDrive), Google APIs integration with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), macOS application development, and cross-ecosystem integrations across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
