Salary: USD 117,749 - 130,000 / annual

As a Software Engineer, you will actively participate in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, efficient, and resilient software solutions. You'll assist in designing software architectures and integrating software components to improve system functionality and user experience, working under guidance from senior engineers. You'll support the implementation of testing protocols to ensure software quality and reliability, and assist in monitoring and optimizing system performance with mentorship from senior team members.
You'll collaborate across functions on software projects aligned with business goals, learning and applying best practices in continuous integration and deployment. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field, plus 2 years of software engineering experience.
Required skills (2+ years): Building backend services in Go, Java, or Python with REST or gRPC and microservices; software development methodologies. Required skills (1+ year): Working with datastores (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, Cosmos DB); containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes; cloud operations on Azure (AKS, storage, monitoring) or AWS/GCP equivalents; observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK/EFK, Jaeger); CI/CD with Git-based workflows, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps; unit and integration testing, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum in production.
The position is based in Bellevue, Washington with telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the U.S.
