Unlimited Industries is automating construction end-to-end to modernize infrastructure development and address productivity challenges in the built environment. The company leverages AI to automate engineering processes and produce design deliverables for large-scale capital projects such as utility-scale power plants and data centers.
As a Software Engineer, you will work in a cross-disciplinary environment building full-stack software alongside hardware and analysis engineers. You'll have high autonomy over software architecture, performance, and implementation. The role involves developing systems that integrate AI coding agents to automate every step of the engineering process, from initial design through final deliverables.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building full-stack applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure
- Pushing the boundaries of AI coding agent capabilities
- Developing engineering and manufacturing software for physical-world products
- Identifying and solving critical bottlenecks in the design and construction workflow
- Executing hands-on technical work with deep ownership of implementation details
You should have experience building full-stack applications and databases, familiarity with AI agent model capabilities, and ideally background in engineering or manufacturing software. Experience in motorsports, defense, aerospace, manufacturing, or robotics is a plus. The role requires comfort with fast-paced, high-performance environments and a mission-driven mindset. This is a 5-days-per-week in-office position in San Francisco.
