Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join one of several high-impact QA teams in Prague. You'll work on automated testing for Veeam's data resilience and security products used by over 550,000 customers worldwide.
In this role, you will develop and maintain automated tests using C# (.NET 8, .NET 10) and PowerShell, collaborating closely with software development teams. Your responsibilities include enhancing test automation frameworks and modules, contributing to test design and implementation, analyzing product source code, supporting internal automated testing systems, building and managing testing infrastructure, and analyzing test results while maintaining a defects database.
You'll work with modern tools including GitLab, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, and TestRail. The ideal candidate brings 1-3+ years of commercial product testing, test automation, or software development experience, with strong C# programming skills and familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments. You should have a strong desire to write high-quality code and develop your programming skills further.
Bonus qualifications include experience with C#/.NET frameworks (LINQ, NUnit, Selenium WebDriver, HttpClient for REST APIs), PowerShell, Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Azure DevOps), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
