Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join one of their high-impact QA teams in Lisbon. This hybrid role focuses on developing and maintaining automated tests for Veeam's data resilience and security products used by over 550,000 customers worldwide.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test suites, collaborating with software development teams, and enhancing testing frameworks and modules. Key responsibilities include contributing to test design and implementation, analyzing product source code, supporting internal automated testing systems, building and managing testing infrastructure, and analyzing test results while maintaining a defects database.
The role requires 1-3+ years of experience in commercial product testing, test automation, or software development. You must have programming experience in C# and familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments. Strong coding practices, logical thinking, and analytical mindset are essential. English proficiency for international team communication is required.
You'll work with modern technologies including C# (.NET 8, .NET 10), PowerShell, GitLab, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, and TestRail. Bonus skills include experience with LINQ, NUnit, Selenium WebDriver, RESTful API testing, Git, CI/CD platforms, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
