As a Software Architect, you will drive the design and evolution of Aspire's next-generation architecture to support high growth and long-term scalability across Southeast Asia. This is a technical leadership role on an international, diverse engineering team focused on building cutting-edge fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, fault-tolerant fintech systems capable of handling high traffic and large data volumes
- Execute complex, vertical-specific technical projects from conception through delivery
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns
- Proactively optimize system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement efficient solutions
- Define technical standards for microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and data architecture
- Ensure systems are designed with correctness, concurrency control, and fault tolerance under load
- Balance scalability, performance, and reliability with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and auditability in financial domains
Required Qualifications:
- 9+ years of professional experience in fintech startups or high-caliber technology companies
- Education from top-tier universities
- Strong hands-on programming skills across multiple languages and frameworks
- Deep expertise in software design patterns, system architecture, and modern technologies
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (PHP, Go, Python, Node.js, Java, etc.)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Knowledge of data architecture, caching, message brokers, logging, and monitoring tools
- Proven ability to design systems handling high concurrency, retries, and race conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHP development experience
- Exposure to multiple technology stacks
- Deep understanding of scalability and performance considerations
- Experience with financial systems requiring high accuracy and auditability
