vCluster Labs is seeking a Social Media Manager to build and own the technical voice of a leading AI infrastructure platform across LinkedIn and X. You will manage the full social program, translating the architectural insights of leadership into content that resonates with the Kubernetes and cloud-native community. Key responsibilities include: - Planning, writing, and publishing weekly posts on LinkedIn and X with a two-week content buffer - Extracting thought leadership from executives and converting deep technical insights into high-impact published content - Community management: responding thoughtfully to comments, DMs, and mentions while adding genuine value to infrastructure conversations - Rapid response to breaking news in cloud-native and AI infrastructure (CNCF releases, architectural debates, KubeCon announcements) - Live event coverage at priority global events (KubeCon, AI infrastructure summits) including real-time X threads, daily LinkedIn updates, and post-event recaps - Serving as the editorial standard-bearer for brand voice, protecting quality and proposing higher-impact alternatives About vCluster Labs: A venture-backed startup (raised $28M+ from Khosla Ventures and others) headquartered in San Francisco with a distributed, remote-first team. The company powers AI infrastructure for 50+ AI clouds and Fortune 500 companies, managing over 100,000 GPUs and 1 million CPUs. vCluster is the open-source technology behind tenant isolation on Kubernetes (11,000+ GitHub stars, 40M+ tenant clusters created since 2021). The team consists of 40+ infrastructure engineers working directly with customers. Requirements: - Infrastructure literacy: understand the cloud-native and DevOps landscape well enough to write credibly for platform teams and practitioners - Platform mastery: opinionated understanding of LinkedIn and X strategy with demonstrated ability to scale developer-centric or highly technical social accounts - Calendar discipline: ability to build and maintain a structured content calendar with a two-week safety buffer - Speed and judgment: balance high-velocity output with corporate judgment; know when to capitalize on trends instantly versus when to align messaging first - Analytical rigor: measure social success by community conversation, traffic, and distribution momentum rather than vanity metrics Bonus qualifications: - Background managing social for developer tools, open-source ecosystems, or AI/MLOps infrastructure - Experience translating deep technical expertise from executives into compelling narratives - Basic video editing skills for transforming product demos or executive sessions into social content - Comfort executing live social playbooks independently at large industry events
