Smartling, an AI-native translation platform ranked #3 on Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies list, is seeking a Social Media Manager to own the brand voice across all channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms. In this role, you will build and execute a channel-by-channel content calendar tailored to each platform's audience and tone. You'll grow an employee advocacy program that equips teammates with shareable content and makes it easy for them to amplify company news. You'll partner closely with Content, Design, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing teams to adapt long-form assets like blogs, webinars, and product launches into native social content that resonates. You'll track engagement, follower growth, and reach across platforms, using analytics to inform concrete strategy adjustments. You'll monitor brand mentions and industry conversations in real time, engaging authentically and flagging opportunities or risks. You'll also leverage AI tools to improve efficiencies in social media and advocacy management. You bring 3+ years of experience managing social media channels for B2B or SaaS companies, with direct ownership of LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, and YouTube. You have a proven track record of growing engagement and follower base through organic content strategy, not just paid boosts. You've built or run an employee advocacy program and have hands-on content creation experience—you can write strong captions, brief designers, and storyboard short-form video. You're comfortable with social analytics and scheduling tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, or HubSpot, and you read native platform analytics fluently. You have sharp copywriting instincts and can adapt one brand voice across very different platforms. You're biased toward action: you post, measure, and iterate rather than waiting for the perfect plan. You're experienced leveraging AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to develop engaging content, improve workflows, and uncover trends. You're adaptable, shifting tone and format fluidly between LinkedIn thought-leadership and Instagram Reels without losing the brand throughline. You're self-directed and don't need a content calendar handed to you—you build it, defend it, and adjust it as the news cycle moves. You're collaborative, knowing that the best social content comes from product, sales, and customer stories. You're analytical, reading engagement data as a signal for what to do next. And you're creative, spotting the story inside a feature launch or customer win before anyone else.
