Favorited is building a platform that transforms digital communities into spaces for connection, engagement, and play. The company empowers creators by enhancing audience participation and fostering deeper connections through gamified social interaction. As Social Media Manager, you'll own Favorited's presence across all social platforms, translating product features, community moments, and platform behaviors into compelling, native content. This is both a strategic and executional role requiring deep understanding of internet culture, platform dynamics, and how content shapes brand perception. Key responsibilities include developing and executing a content strategy that drives growth and engagement; identifying and acting on trends, memes, and cultural moments with speed; optimizing content performance through data and testing; partnering cross-functionally with product, marketing, and creator teams; building and nurturing community presence through direct user and creator engagement; managing content calendars while maintaining flexibility for real-time opportunities; and continuously evaluating new platforms and formats for expansion. You'll need 3–8 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing, ideally in consumer tech, gaming, or entertainment. Strong qualifications include deep platform knowledge, proven track record of driving audience growth and engagement, sharp understanding of internet culture and meme literacy, ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience building social accounts from early stages and obsession with what makes content shareable and culturally relevant are standout qualities. The company values self-starters, open communication, real-time feedback, and high standards. The work culture is intense and collaborative, ideal for those passionate about gaming and gamification.
