Salary: USD 120,000 - 185,000 / annual
DualEntry is an AI-native ERP platform building the operating system for finance. The company has raised $100M+ from top-tier VCs (Lightspeed, Khosla Ventures, Contrary, Google Ventures) and serves customers ranging from $5M ARR to publicly traded companies. They're reinventing a $220B fintech market dominated by legacy 1990s software.
As Social Media Manager, you'll own DualEntry's social presence across X, LinkedIn, and relevant communities where finance leaders and startup founders congregate. You'll work directly with the founding team to amplify their voice and build brand awareness through authentic, timely content. Success is measured by engagement, follower growth, and mindshare among finance leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and posting short-form content that captures moments in real-time (e.g., posting within 10 minutes of a relevant event)
- Producing authentic, phone-shot video content that resonates with founders and finance professionals
- Building presence in communities (Reddit, Discord, Slack groups) where finance leaders congregate
- Developing native short-form writing with strong opening lines that drive engagement
- Operating with speed and bias toward action rather than perfection
- Collaborating with founders on voice and messaging strategy
You'll thrive if you have 3+ years running social for startups, creators, or founders; deep familiarity with founder and SaaS internet culture; strong instincts for short-form writing; and a willingness to work outside traditional business hours. Nice-to-haves include fintech/accounting/B2B SaaS background, your own newsletter or podcast, community-building experience, and paid social expertise.
DualEntry offers significant equity ownership, early-stage growth opportunity, direct product feedback influence, and a high-speed, high-trust environment with high expectations. The role is based at their NYC HQ (7 World Trade Center) in a collaborative, in-office culture with no bureaucracy.
