BARK is building the leading dog-centric consumer brand, operating at the intersection of data, technology, and creativity. The Brand Team creates the stories, campaigns, and moments that make BARK one of the internet's favorite brands to follow, with social media at the center of that work. You will lead BARK's social media and content strategy across all platforms, shaping how millions of people experience the brand daily. This role requires partnering closely with Creative, Growth, Product Marketing, PR, and Customer Experience teams to develop content that people choose to watch, share, save, and share with friends. Key responsibilities include: developing and executing original social-first campaigns; building an AI-enabled content engine that automates repetitive work and frees the team to focus on creative excellence; leveraging performance data, social listening, and audience insights to continuously refine strategy; identifying and capitalizing on cultural moments; and leading and developing a high-performing team. You bring a portfolio demonstrating significant social media and content strategy impact for consumer brands. You have deep platform expertise, understand creator economy dynamics and internet culture, and know how to use AI throughout the creative process—from ideation and research to workflow automation and performance analysis. You balance strong creative instincts with data-driven decision-making, and you have proven experience building content strategies that blend original creative, creator partnerships, and user-generated content. You've led high-performing teams or agencies and have a bias toward experimentation and finding smarter ways to work. You think in content series, understand cultural nuance, and know when to move fast versus when to hold back. You must love dogs.
