Circle is a fully remote, 200-person platform enabling creators, coaches, educators, and businesses to build all-in-one communities with discussions, live streams, events, chat, courses, and payments under their own brand.
You'll lead Circle's social media function from the ground up, transforming the company's strong brand into compelling social presence across platforms. Reporting to the VP of Partnerships and Creator Growth, you'll own strategy execution, content production, and cross-functional coordination with founders, product marketing, partnerships, and design teams.
Key responsibilities include executing social content strategy with emphasis on short-form video; independently producing, editing, and publishing platform-native content; building and maintaining content calendars and capture workflows; identifying content opportunities from partnerships, events, and customer stories; collaborating on longer-form content designed for short-form distribution; attending company events (up to 25% travel) to capture content; and tracking metrics like non-follower reach, watch-through rates, and engagement to continuously improve execution.
You'll need proven experience creating content for tech, SaaS, or creator economy brands; professional video editing skills in Adobe Premiere or equivalent; deep platform fluency (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn) with understanding of algorithm dynamics; strong point of view on what drives social engagement; awareness of creator economy landscape; comfort on camera and capturing content independently; operational instincts for building repeatable systems; and exceptional English communication for async collaboration.
This is a hybrid role requiring NYC-area residency for occasional in-studio work, though daily office presence is not expected. The company hosts twice-yearly global offsites in destinations worldwide.
