Pencil is an advertising technology company using generative AI to redefine content creation for brands of all sizes. This role owns Pencil's complete social media and community strategy, reporting to the Head of Marketing. You will manage social presence across LinkedIn (primary channel, 4-5 posts weekly), Instagram, X, and YouTube, including executive social content for the CEO and COO. You'll oversee the community calendar and day-to-day operations across platforms like Circle, Slack, or Discord—welcoming members, moderating discussions, coordinating webinars, and running product demos. Key responsibilities include: developing and executing social strategy; managing executive LinkedIn accounts in their distinct voices; turning community wins and webinar moments into social content; briefing designers on visuals and video; tracking engagement, follower growth, and community activity; and routing product questions and leads to appropriate teams. Success metrics include maintaining social and community cadence in the first 30 days, trending engagement upward and establishing regular community events by day 90, and demonstrating measurable pipeline contribution through sign-ups, event attendance, and inbound interest. You'll need 3+ years in social media, community management, or both (ideally B2B SaaS or martech); excellent written English with ability to write in multiple brand voices; hands-on LinkedIn expertise; experience running online communities with moderation and member growth; and comfort with analytics. Nice-to-haves include familiarity with AI marketing tools and experience with HubSpot, Webflow, Figma, or video editing. The company offers 25 days PTO plus public holidays (flexible time off), health insurance, monthly wellness/learning stipend, enhanced parental leave, remote work within your home country, and flexible hours.
