Jellyfish, a global digital marketing agency, is seeking a Social Content Manager to join their award-winning team working with a top global streaming service partner. Based in the Los Angeles office on a hybrid arrangement, you will report to the Social Content Director and collaborate with project managers, content managers, editors, and designers to create breakthrough social media content.
Your primary responsibilities include developing creative content that elevates and innovates the client's brand voice across social channels, with a focus on entertainment content for TV and film. You will participate in creative brainstorming sessions, manage community engagement, write short and long-form social copy, and develop scripts. The role involves supporting social coverage for live events and junket shoots, ensuring all content aligns with broader creative strategy, and staying current with emerging social trends to pitch and create reactive content.
You will work closely with the project management team to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery, and collaborate directly with the client to ensure briefs are clearly understood. The position requires expertise in creating diverse content formats including static assets, short and long-form video (Reels, TikTok, scripted pieces), GIFs, memes, and GIPHY stickers. You should have a strong point of view on innovative social media engagement and deep understanding of high-performing TikTok creative.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of experience in social media content creation, preferably in entertainment. You must be passionate about social media, entertainment (particularly TV and film), and pop culture. Experience is essential in covering live events, working with talent on production shoots, building online communities, understanding fandom dynamics, and delivering national-level social campaigns. Basic editing proficiency with programs like Premiere and CapCut is required.
