Applied Intuition is a $15B Series A company building digital infrastructure for physical AI across automotive, defense, trucking, construction, mining, and agriculture. They work with 18 of the top 20 global automakers and the US military. This is a hands-on, execution-focused Community Engagement Manager role focused on building Applied Intuition's presence in technical communities where engineers and researchers discuss physical AI, autonomy, and simulation. You'll be the daily voice behind the company's social channels, working closely with the Social Media Marketing Manager who owns strategy. Key responsibilities: - Own daily publishing execution across X, LinkedIn, and other owned social channels with consistent cadence - Maintain social calendar, content queue, and asset trackers to ensure nothing gets missed - Adapt approved content to fit each platform's voice, format, and best practices - Coordinate with marketing, writers, designers, and subject matter experts to keep content pipeline moving - Engage directly in comments and DMs, building relationships with developers, researchers, and technical talent - Understand what resonates with engineering and developer audiences; tailor tone, timing, and substance accordingly - Monitor social listening tools to identify trends, whitespace opportunities, and moments worth engaging with in real time - Track audience composition and engagement patterns; use data to inform strategy - Identify and nurture relationships with recurring engaged followers and community champions - Monitor competitor and industry activity - Moderate and ensure technical community receives timely, credible responses Required experience: - 2-4 years in community management or community-facing social roles, ideally supporting technical, developer, or AI-focused audiences - Genuine understanding of developer and engineering communities - Direct experience engaging in online communities (Reddit, X, Discord, LinkedIn, etc.) and comfort being the voice behind day-to-day replies and moderation - Hands-on experience with social media listening or analytics tools - Strong execution instincts; reliable and energized by daily hands-on work - Strong writing skills and ear for tone Nice to have: - Employer brand, talent, or recruiting-adjacent content experience - Familiarity with developer or open-source communities - Experience working at or marketing to technical/engineering audiences Applied Intuition expects in-office work 5 days per week from their Sunnyvale headquarters, though they recognize flexibility for occasional remote work and family commitments.
