Salary: USD 85,000 - 170,000 / annual

Veeva Systems, a public benefit corporation and leader in industry cloud for life sciences, is seeking an experienced Services Engagement Manager to drive strategy and delivery for its Professional Services organization. This is a remote, full-time role based in North America with travel requirements of approximately 10-15% annually. You will serve as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external executive leadership, helping life sciences organizations understand the value of Veeva's Professional Services offerings. Your core responsibilities include: **Selling Professional Services Value**: Educate customers on Veeva's implementation methodology and services value proposition. Set clear expectations around scope, capabilities, and limitations of engagements. **Engagement Design & Scoping**: Define and prescribe optimal Professional Services models for customers based on their needs and business objectives. You'll draft and deliver RFx responses, proposals, and statements of work, ensuring alignment with internal subject matter experts and customer leadership. **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Partner with sales, strategy, services, business consulting, solutions consulting, and other teams to ensure optimal engagement positioning and approach. Provide thought partnership and drive results through influence rather than direct authority. **Operational Excellence**: Own a high-volume pipeline with consistent execution, urgency, flawless data management, and appropriate stakeholder communication from internal associates to C-suite executives. **Required Qualifications**: 3+ years delivering software implementation and enhancement projects (as Program Manager, Project Manager, Functional Analyst, Practice Manager, or similar). 1+ years scoping project plans, resource models, and negotiating statements of work for software implementations. Background in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Tech preferred; experience with Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, or Regulatory Information Management software a plus. Problem-solving, customer service orientation, and ability to work across time zones required. Compensation: Base salary $85,000–$170,000 plus potential variable bonus and stock options.
