Salary: USD 85,000 - 170,000 / annual
Veeva Systems, a public benefit corporation and leader in life sciences cloud software, is seeking an experienced Services Engagement Manager to drive strategy and delivery for Professional Services. This is a remote, full-time role based in North America with occasional travel (~10-15%).
You will act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external customer leadership, owning end-to-end engagement design and driving a high-volume pipeline. Your responsibilities include educating customers on Veeva's Professional Services methodology and value proposition, defining optimal service delivery models through proposals and statements of work, and collaborating across sales, strategy, services, and consulting teams to ensure alignment.
Key responsibilities:
- Sell the value of Veeva's Professional Services offerings to life sciences organizations
- Design and prescribe appropriate service engagement models based on customer needs and business objectives
- Draft and deliver RFx responses, proposals, and statements of work
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure optimal positioning and engagement approach
- Manage a high-volume pipeline with operational excellence, data integrity, and stakeholder communication
- Provide thought partnership and drive results through influence without direct reports
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years delivering software implementation and enhancement projects (Program Manager, Project Manager, Functional Analyst, Practice Manager, or similar)
- 1+ years scoping project plans, resource models, and negotiating statements of work for software implementations
- Problem-solving and customer service orientation
- Ability to work across North American time zones and travel when required
- Background in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Tech preferred
- Experience with Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, or Regulatory Information Management software a plus
