Salary: USD 85,000 - 170,000 / annual
Veeva Systems is seeking an experienced Services Engagement Manager to drive strategy, positioning, and delivery for its Professional Services organization. This is a remote, full-time role based in North America with flexibility to work from home or office, requiring ~10-15% travel and proximity to an airport.
You will act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external executive leadership, helping life sciences organizations understand the value of Veeva's Professional Services. Your core responsibilities include:
**Selling Value of Services**: Educate customers on Veeva's Professional Services methodology and value proposition. Set appropriate expectations around scope, capabilities, and limitations.
**Engagement Design**: Define and prescribe the optimal Professional Services model for each customer based on their needs and business objectives. Draft and deliver RFx responses, proposals, and statements of work with precision.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Partner with sales, strategy, services, business consulting, solutions consulting, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal engagement approach and positioning.
**Operational Excellence**: Own a high-volume pipeline with consistent execution, urgency, flawless data management, and clear stakeholder communication from internal associates to C-suite executives.
**Leadership Through Influence**: Provide thought partnership across the business and drive meaningful results without direct reports. Embrace creative conflict with diplomacy and humility.
**Requirements**: 3+ years delivering software implementation and enhancement projects (Program Manager, Project Manager, Functional/Business Analyst, Practice Manager roles). 1+ years scoping project plans, resource models, and negotiating statements of work for software implementation. Background in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Tech preferred; experience with Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, or Regulatory Information Management (RIM) software a plus. Problem-solving and customer service orientation essential. Consulting, tech sales, and program/project management experience valued. Must be based in North America with ability to work across time zones and travel as needed.
