Veeva Systems, a public benefit corporation and leader in life sciences cloud software, seeks an experienced Services Engagement Manager to drive strategy and delivery for its Professional Services organization. This is a remote, full-time role based in North America with occasional travel (~10-15%).
You will act as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external executive leadership, helping life sciences organizations understand the value of Veeva's Professional Services. Your core responsibilities include:
**Selling Services Value**: Educate customers on Veeva's Professional Services methodology and value proposition. Set clear expectations about what Veeva can, should, and won't deliver.
**Engagement Design**: Define and prescribe the optimal Professional Services model for each customer based on their needs and business objectives. Draft and deliver RFx responses, proposals, and statements of work with precision.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Partner with sales, strategy, services, business consulting, solutions consulting, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal engagement positioning and alignment.
**Operational Excellence**: Own a high-volume pipeline with consistent execution, urgency, flawless data management, and stakeholder communication from internal associates to C-suite executives.
**Leadership Through Influence**: Provide thought partnership across the business and drive meaningful results without direct reports. Embrace creative conflict with diplomacy and humility.
You bring 3+ years of software implementation and enhancement project delivery experience (as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Functional Analyst, or similar role). You have 1+ years scoping project plans, resource models, and negotiating statements of work. Background in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Tech is preferred, with particular value placed on experience with Clinical Operations, Pharmacovigilance, or Regulatory Information Management software.
You are problem-solving and customer-service oriented, with consulting, tech sales, and program/project management experience. You're comfortable working across time zones and traveling when required.
