Collibra is seeking a Senior Workday Analyst to join its People Solutions team, reporting to the Senior Manager of People Solutions. This is a hybrid role based in the Raleigh office, requiring at least two days per week on-site.
You will own meaningful pieces of Collibra's Workday ecosystem with clear room to grow into broader scope over time. This role is structured as a growth path, not a fully-loaded seat from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build automations and agentic workflow prototypes using tools like Workato and Claude that connect Workday, applicant tracking systems, and other People Technology systems
- Own Workday business process configuration and security group architecture, including periodic access reviews and segregation-of-duties checks
- Develop Workday reports and calculated fields that give stakeholders actionable, trustworthy data
- Partner with People and Places, IT, and other teams to troubleshoot complex configuration and data issues, and test and deploy new functionality without breaking existing systems
- Extend the builder mindset beyond core HRIS administration by prototyping automations for People Operations processes like talent acquisition or onboarding
You will be measured on concrete milestones: shipping your first Workato automation within three months, independently handling configuration and reporting requests, and building automations that extend beyond Workday into other People Operations processes within six months.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience configuring Workday business processes (security architecture experience is a plus, not required)
- Experience building Workday reports or calculated fields, or strong aptitude to grow into this quickly
- Experience with an iPaaS/automation tool such as Workato (preferred)
- Experience with an applicant tracking system like Greenhouse (preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot) to solve real-world business challenges, drive measurable outcomes, or streamline workflows
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience required
- Not eligible for visa sponsorship
Desired Traits:
- Comfortable translating technical configuration changes for non-technical business partners
- Proactive about data integrity with good judgment on ambiguous configuration requests
- Excited to build with tools like Claude and Workato and to identify automation opportunities beyond immediate team scope
- Genuinely energized by growth and eager to turn a strong Workday foundation into broader ownership over time
- Clear, collaborative communicator across technical and non-technical teams
