Hedra is an AI research and infrastructure company building physical world models and visual intelligence systems. As Senior Video Producer, you'll own the complete video content strategy and execution, with YouTube as the primary channel for reaching developer, prosumer, and enterprise audiences.
You'll produce long-form educational and narrative content—tutorials, feature deep-dives, and product narratives—optimized for search intent and conversion. You'll write scripts, shoot and edit content yourself, and manage a freelance bench of video editors, motion graphics designers, and on-camera talent to scale output. Every long-form piece feeds a cutdown pipeline for X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and paid media campaigns.
Responsibilities include: collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing to understand user needs and product capabilities; owning the video content calendar aligned to marketing launches; sourcing and managing freelance contractors with redundancy built in; writing scripts or briefing them to the team; cutting short-form content for social channels; managing agency relationships with clear briefs and SOWs; and owning YouTube channel operations including thumbnails, titles, metadata, and weekly performance reporting.
You'll need 4+ years producing video for tech/SaaS brands with proven YouTube channel growth you can demonstrate. You must have hands-on experience hiring and managing freelance editors and motion designers, not just working within large in-house teams. You're comfortable scripting, shooting scrappy solo content, and understanding YouTube as a search and conversion channel. Technical fluency with developer-facing content is essential—you should understand product demos and APIs. You're self-motivated, hands-on, low-ego, and curious about generative AI and world models. The team is fully in-person in San Francisco and values startup experience and self-starters.
