Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology. As a Senior Value Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, driving their end-to-end value journey with the Celonis platform. You'll work with strategic clients to solve critical operational challenges—from modernizing legacy systems to optimizing finance processes and deploying intelligent autonomous agents.
Your responsibilities include leading pre-sales technical discovery and capability demonstrations during expansion cycles, then remaining deeply involved post-sale to guide implementation and ensure adoption targets are met. You'll own enterprise-wide ROI and adoption programs, accelerating customer autonomy through quarterly business reviews, strategic roadmaps, and value opportunity identification. You'll establish repeatable frameworks that enable customers to independently track and expand business value.
You'll serve as the internal and external technical subject matter expert for your customer industry domain, scaling knowledge across the organization. You'll understand customers' AI strategies and challenges, translating requirements into innovative solutions using Celonis' Process Intelligence Graph and AI/LLM capabilities to deliver measurable impact.
Key responsibilities include managing the full customer lifecycle from discovery through value realization, driving adoption and ROI programs, serving as domain and industry leadership, and discovering AI opportunities that solve complex business bottlenecks. You'll manage multiple projects at different stages, conduct technical whiteboarding sessions and formal demos, and work closely with sales teams and the Celonis ecosystem.
Required: 4+ years in pre-sales, customer success, or consulting (strategy consulting, business process improvement, digital transformation, or customer value realization). Strong technical skills across Microsoft Azure or AWS equivalents, including data engineering, data connections, and LLM knowledge (Copilot, Claude, etc.). Expertise in value-driven selling, project management, and presentation skills. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-have: Understanding of business processes in supply chain or finance; Python and ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, sklearn, PyTorch); hands-on experience building agentic systems with LLM orchestration, RAG, and prompt engineering.
